We’ll have a Veggie Truck at our Camino location this October 15th and 16th.

Uncle Bob, one of our founders was a most colorful and talented guy. His daughter Ilisa and her family carry on with that tradition by leveraging their Green Thumbs to grow mounds of Red Tomatoes along with some tasty peppers and some sizeable zucchinis.

They have teamed up with the winery to get this veggie bounty to the CBC customer base.

Visit the last Tomato Truck weekend on October 15th and 16th and take home a bag of garden goodness.

Better yet, leave a small donation to the El Dorado Food Bank and CBC will match it a the end of October!

The Return of the Creepy Halloween Dance Party at CBC is almost upon us! On Saturday October 29th, we’re bringing in veteran rockers Darth Mozart to crank up your 70’s and 80’s rock tunes so you can shake your costumed booty! Look, nobody is happy about it, but George Orwell got it right way back in the 1940’s when he tried to warn us. Those of us of a certain age read it in school and we subsequently noted the passage of the actual year 1984 with more than a bit of smugness that this sickly-looking alarmist had it all wrong.

All we can say is Oops.

Maybe time to get the Audible book fired up and revisit the messages from this visionary. Because of Orwell’s June 25th birthday – we declare that he is the Prophetic Meau-Faux for June.
