Paint and Sip
Relax, Uncork, and Escape at our Paint and Sip event at the Crystal Basin Station in Folsom, California.
With a brush in one hand and a glass of vino in the other, you’ll escape into a world of color and fun. You will be surprised at how easy it is to create a beautiful painting with the right instructor and the right blood alcohol level!
What’s a paint and sip? It’s a 2 hour opportunity for you to get in touch with your creativity while sipping delicious Crystal Basin wines. In today’s hectic world, it is difficult to find time to reconnect to the budding artist inside. Paint & Sip events were created with this in mind. You’ll be given step-by-step instructions to reproduce a pre-selected work of art by a professional artist, in a joyous and stress relieving environment created by the CBC Team. One that encourages “happy little accidents”. 😊
It’s truly an opportunity to relax, uncork, and escape your day-to-day pressures and return to the pleasure of a creative endeavor.

Provence and Burgundy River Cruise
Come Sale Away With Us! March 2024 Provence and Burgundy River Cruise with Amawaterways and CBC.
This is the redux of the 2020 cruise that-never-happened! You know the CBC team – we just don’t give up! We are hosting a pair of kick-off events so folks can ask questions about the experience and, if appropriate, put down deposits on rooms for this exquisite cruise experience at great CBC club pricing.
These no-cost cruise Events are held:
Thursday, February 2, from 4 to 7pm in Folsom – Crystal Basin Station at 813 Sutter Street
Saturday, February 4, from 2 to 4pm in Camino – Crystal Basin Cellars at 3550 Carson Road
This river cruise will be from Arles France going north on the Rhone River into Burgundy on the AmaCello with only 160 happy passengers. Melissa and Mike Owen will be your wine hosts and they are both excited to be returning to some ‘home turf’, as they lived there in the mid-90s for a couple of years. You can expect the most lux accommodations and treatment at the hand of the Amawaterways crew and you can always expect a good and even informative time with Mike and Melissa leading the charge.

What is a Meau-Faux and why does Crystal Basin Celebrate them?
We are always seeking to identify and honor innovative leadership. We’ve created a way for us all to recognize and celebrate truly unique folks on their respective birthdays. Each month, Crystal Basin selects a special Meau-Faux who have made an indelible mark on the world in their own way. This moniker is not to be taken lightly. It takes a LOT to be a Meau-Faux. You have to get up early, stay up late, and in many specific cases, be able to party like a rockstar. We know these personalities and what they stand for instantly. By calling our attention to these leaders, we hope you’ll be able to pull some essence of their spirit into you daily life. They are, quite simply, Meau-Fauxs.
Why is the January 2023 Meau-Faux John Belushi?
John Belushi is an obvious choice for Meau-Faux of the month. Rocketing to fame as a lead on the venerable Saturday Night Live (remember when it was funny?), Belushi lived big and partied hard. His comic genius will forever be part of our culture from his parts in movies like Animal House, Blues Brothers and Neighbors. Listen closely today and you’ll hear a Belushi quote that will give you a belly laugh. Salute John at January’s Comedic Meau-Faux.
