Crystal Basin’s Red Cap program simply represents the best of the best of our production. Comprising less than 2% of our production, these wines are trial-selected for their varietal character and uniqueness. Because our wine varieties are often sourced from multiple vineyards, we sometimes encounter – and want to showcase – individual small lots of wine that represent the Best of the Vintage. We use the Cubed labeling convention for these wines, as they are often orders of magnitude above our standard offerings. Truly the Best of the Best.

Come Sale Away With Us! March 2024 Provence and Burgundy River Cruise with Amawaterways and CBC.
This is the redux of the 2020 cruise that-never-happened! You know the CBC team – we just don’t give up! We are hosting a pair of kick-off events so folks can ask questions about the experience and, if appropriate, put down deposits on rooms for this exquisite cruise experience at great CBC club pricing.
These no-cost cruise Events are held:
Thursday, February 2, from 4 to 7pm in Folsom – Crystal Basin Station at 813 Sutter Street
Saturday, February 4, from 2 to 4pm in Camino – Crystal Basin Cellars at 3550 Carson Road
This river cruise will be from Arles France going north on the Rhone River into Burgundy on the AmaCello with only 160 happy passengers. Melissa and Mike Owen will be your wine hosts and they are both excited to be returning to some ‘home turf’, as they lived there in the mid-90s for a couple of years. You can expect the most lux accommodations and treatment at the hand of the Amawaterways crew and you can always expect a good and even informative time with Mike and Melissa leading the charge.

Calling all club members! Become a club member at all Carson Road Winery locations for a day.

$20 newcomers-be a club member at 8 different wineries for the day
Our second Annual Winter Wine Adventure, presented by 8 of the Carson Road wineries, as well as HWY 50 Brewery! The wineries will be pairing some delicious bites with their wines and of course, there will be the Scavenger Hunt Adventure to entertain you as you sip and enjoy our beautiful Carson Road winter! This event is rain or shine, unless there are blizzard conditions.
The Scavenger Hunt will have you locating some objects at each winery to enter into raffles and to qualify for a chance to win the Grand Prize.
